Based in Melbourne since 2013, Space Burglar returns to music for the first time in 10 years.

The ‘restrictions’ referred to in this new LP are and are not related to being in lockdown during a pandemic. They also refer to modern living and relationships, as well as the process of producing the LP’s tracks.

In the past couple of years Space Burglar has been so immersed in footwork, drill and the musical rhythms of the African diaspora, as well as a return to jungle and dub techno.

"For the first time in a long time, I have felt comfortable to return to the relatively solitary act of being a lone producer, as well as being reconciled with indulging more purely in space, synths and rhythm."
